L'Heure Bleue is a unique location for a retreat, situated within a family home with an intimate two hundred year history. The house calls for and forth offerings that are small in scale, such as solitary residences, 1:1 offerings or small group retreats. The invitation is to reimagine what a retreat could be.
The setting carries her own particular energy of thresholds. From the house, looking out over the bay gives the impression of being in complete isolation. Yet, on settling and hearing the sound of church bells, becoming enveloped by the smell of burning stoves carried by saline winds, one feels sheltered.
